The Slides 6 km
Set off on the most fun of our descents! This 6 km route on calm waters takes you all the way to Vallon-Pont-d’Arc, sliding down 5 fun chutes — real water slides built for canoes, fitted along the river weirs. A descent designed to have fun without wearing yourself out, ideal for getting to grips with your boat and enjoying the Ardèche as a family.
Along the way, the route alternates between shaded stretches of water and slides to pass through one by one. Numerous beaches line the descent: plenty of opportunities to stop, swim and soak up the sun, at your own pace.
Allow around 2 hours of paddling time, accessible from age 7. A small challenge within everyone’s reach, best savoured by taking your time — the best way to truly enjoy the river.

What not to forget to properly prepare your activity
- Old sneakers or watersandals (shoes which keep at the feet). For your security, avoid shoelaces
- Swimsuit
- T-shirt (beware of sunburns)
- Cap
- Sunglasses, without forgetting the little string to attache them
- Water
- Picnic if necessary
- Avoid bringing jewelry and other non-waterproof, fragile or valuable items
